It’s official: my sources for credible news reporting are now limited to Matt Taibbi (of Rolling Stone Magazine), Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert. And, it’s not exactly news that I would vote for Obama … if I could (Ah, sweet sweet INS!). But the lack of objective journalism is pretty revolting. Mainstream media, for all intents and purposes, will wrap its blabbering lips around the nutsacks of either David Axelrod, or Karl Rove … whomever one leaked a press release about having a fresh waxing done that week.  And no, I’m not necessarily putting those two maneuveristas on an even scale of evil … I’m sure Rove lubes up for Lucifer himself every night and actually enjoys it … but that’s a whole other ballgame. I could keep going with the juvenile wordplay, trust me. But, moving on …

My shortlist of qualms:

  • How and why is Palin a “fresh breath of change” … but Obama is “inexperienced”?
  • Pro-abstinence and pro-life? OK, maybe in a perfect world. But no sex-ed and prophylactics/birth control? Who the fuck are you kidding? And now we have activist doctors and pharmacies who sound like they’ve been enjoying one too many a dirty sanchez from the Pope himself.
  • Why is this article in Rolling Stone magazine, but not a frontpager on the Washington Post, or the New York Times? By the way, Matt Taibbi, bless your soul!

In layman’s terms, we’ve gone from being screwed to being fucked. Who knows — maybe Barack Obama will surprise us if he wins the election. But if you look at the money, it doesn’t look good.

Oh … and here’s Stephen Colbert. Sweet, poignant satire.

Go ahead, Americans. Vote McCunt ‘08. Yeah, I said it.

One more thing: $20 says Bill Clinton’s jacking off to Sarah Palin right now. Either that or he’s Bristol’s baby daddy. How’s that for reaching across party lines? That’d make great media fodder.
